Tan Yingyun (谈英云) was a Yixing pottery artisan from Yixing, Jiangsu Province. She was born in 1945 and began her career in the Yixing Purple Sand Craft Factory in 1958. Throughout her career, she studied under several notable masters including Wang Yinchun, Gu Jingzhou, and Xu Hantang, learning traditional Yixing pottery techniques and developing her skills in teapot creation.

Tan specialized in creating flower-shaped teapots (花货) and demonstrated exceptional craftsmanship in this style. Her works are characterized by their refined execution and artistic merit. She achieved the professional title of Arts and Crafts Artist (工艺美术师), reflecting her recognized expertise in the field of Yixing purple sand pottery.
