# The Huaying Teapot The design concept of the "Huaying Teapot" lies in expressing the artistic conception of flower buds blooming and the vibrant arrival of spring. "Hua" (华) means flourishing, derived from plants; when herbaceous plants flower, it is called "hua." "Ying" (颖) refers to the tip of grain stalks, specifically the slanted needle-like awns on wheat and grain ears, symbolizing outstanding talent. The body of the "Huaying Teapot" corresponds harmoniously from top to bottom. The knob, lid surface, and body are all round and smooth, with the lid full of tension. The plump body and raised lid present three spherical forms, stacked upon a ring foot base, appearing exceptionally spirited. The curved spout extends naturally, forming a balanced symmetry of solid and void with the round handle. Viewed from afar, it resembles a flower bud just beginning to open—serene and composed, rich in spirit and charm.
