The "Four-Sided Angular Pot" was created in the late 1930s and early 1940s. It comes in both green clay and purple clay varieties, with a warm, lustrous, and elegantly antique color and texture. The pot body, spout, loop handle, and ring foot are all constructed with four-sided angular forms. Eight lines running from top to bottom on the knob divide the pot body into eight facets. The four angular side surfaces coordinate harmoniously with the pot body and lid surface while maintaining a stable, dignified presence. The recessed centers on the four sides of the ring foot lend the pot body a refined and spirited quality. The pot body is flat and straight, with clean, crisp lines. Some pieces are left plain without any decoration, while others are incised with archaic patterns popular during the Republican era, such as eave-end tiles and coin inscriptions. The calligraphy is skillful and demonstrates profound mastery—truly a perfect union of complementary elements, adding brilliance to what is already splendid. --- *Four-sided angular pot with incised inscription*
