Deng Yingchao visited Japan, presenting the "Tibi Tea Set" as a state gift to the Japanese Prime Minister. Designed the "Lingering Corner Coffee Set." ## 1980 In March, Han Meilin traveled to Dingshan, Yixing to meet with Gu Jingzhou. The two engaged in in-depth discussions on the topic of introducing modern ceramic art design into Zisha pottery creation. In September, the science and education film *Zisha Pottery* produced by Shanghai Science and Education Film Studio was completed. Gu Jingzhou served as technical advisor. Assisted the Zisha Pottery Factory in establishing a specialized Zisha craftsmanship class. Created works including "僧帽壶" (Monk's Hat Teapot), "汉铎壶" (Han Duo Teapot), "圆钟壶" (Round Bell Teapot), "铸井栏壶" (Cast Well Railing Teapot), "三足乳鼎壶" (Three-Legged Milk Cauldron Teapot), "供春壶" (Gong Chun Teapot), and "顾朱壶" (Gu Zhu Teapot). Designed the "Banqiao Tiliang Teapot" (Banqiao Handled Teapot). ## 1981 In September, Gu Jingzhou, Gao Haigeng, Xu Xiutang, and Song Bosuo from the Nanjing Museum—a group of four—were invited by the Hong Kong Urban Council to participate in the Sixth Asian Arts Festival in Hong Kong, holding the "Yixing Zisha Pottery Art Exhibition." During this period, Gu Jingzhou delivered a special lecture on "The Sculpting Techniques of Yixing Zisha Pottery," gave craft demonstration performances, and authenticated Zisha works in the collection of the Hong Kong Museum of Tea Ware. In December, Gu Jingzhou published the article "An Overview of Yixing Zisha Pottery Art," which appeared in *Yixing Cultural Materials*, Issue 1. ## 1982 In September, the Yixing Zisha Pottery Factory held the "Exhibition of Zisha Masters and Masterworks" at the Palace Museum in Beijing. Gu Jingzhou authenticated Zisha pieces in the Palace Museum's collection.
