In June 1985, a photograph was taken at the Kam Fung Company exhibition in Hong Kong. The order totaled twenty-three varieties, approximately 565 sets, with a value of about 50,000 yuan.[1] Among these, Gu Jingzhou's teapots comprised three varieties and ninety pieces. Due to strict and meticulous production standards, as well as pricing factors, the actual quantity Gu Jingzhou ultimately delivered was significantly lower than the intended agreement in the order. For this commission, Luo Guixiang required: "First, all teapots produced must bear the maker's signature and seal (during the Cultural Revolution, signatures were not permitted—only 'Made in Yixing, China' or worker numbers were allowed); second, finished products would be inspected and approved by his assistant Mr. Ye Rongzhi, with substandard pieces to be rejected; third, all works he commissioned would be exclusively sold by him—no additional pieces could be made, nor could they be sold to others. He also specified that the entire production process be supervised by Mr. Gu Jingzhou." To better promote Yixing zisha pottery to the world, after returning to Hong Kong from Yixing, Luo Guixiang organized three zisha exhibitions in Hong Kong in 1981, 1984, and 1988 respectively. Mr. Luo Guixiang's visit to Yixing to purchase zisha pottery not only heralded the arrival of a vibrant spring for zisha, but also marked the official opening of the third stage of Gu Jingzhou's artistic life. --- [1] He Panfa and He Dongqiang, "Mr. Luo Guixiang's Visit to Yixing," in *Zisha Research (Volume 2)*, ed.
