The design takes its form from the oil lamps used in daily life by common people, typically bowl-shaped with a wick placed in the center. The "Oil Lamp Teapot" created by Gu Jingzhou features a body that is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom, bowl-shaped like an oil lamp. The lid surface protrudes upward in the middle, resembling the lamp oil within. The knob, shaped like a peach heart or oval, resembles the flame burning atop the wick. The lower portions of the spout and handle are rounded, naturally connecting with the body, while the upper portions of the spout and handle are treated as part of the same plane as the body, echoing the "lamp" theme. Gu Jingzhou's "Oil Lamp Teapot" exists in two styles. Although the spout, handle, knob, and body all differ between them, the "oil lamp" theme remains tightly woven throughout both. Different in form yet identical in essence, each possesses its own distinctive character. --- *Another style of the Oil Lamp Teapot made by Gu Jingzhou*
