"Lotus Flower Ribbed Round Teapot" is a representative work of Gu Jingzhou's ribbed ware. From top to bottom, the lid surface, rim, and body are connected throughout with evenly spaced ribbed lines. The form is neat and well-proportioned, elegant and lively, with a strong sense of rhythm and cadence. The body curves outward at the top and bottom, unified in the middle by a waist line. Both sides of the spout are decorated with concave lines that echo the ribbing. Gu Jingzhou created two versions of the "Lotus Flower Ribbed Round Teapot": one with a pearl finial, decorated with four concave lines that run through and correspond to the ribbing on the lid surface; the other with a bridge finial. *Lotus Flower Ribbed Round Teapot (Bridge Finial)*
