"Tiao Yu Yi" was created in the 1970s, crafted from green clay with a gentle blue-green luster. The texture is fine and lustrous, resembling stone and jade alike. The body of the teapot takes its form from ancient jade columns, symbolizing the concept of "round heaven and square earth." The vessel body is a rounded square column, with a short neck and a mushroom-shaped lid paired with a square bridge-shaped knob, distinctive and exquisite in appearance. The structure of this teapot is rigorous, balanced, and harmonious. The technique is skilled and accomplished, with ingenious conception. This piece was made by Gu Jingzhou as a demonstration work for his students.
