Based on borrowing and absorbing from Mansheng's "Yigua Suo," Gu Jingzhou undertook a recreation, transforming the flat bottom of "Mansheng Yigua" into a three-legged tripod form. The center was shifted upward, lifting the spirit. The Three-Legged Breast Ding Teapot is one of Gu Jingzhou's representative works from his later years. The teapot resembles a melon, with a body in the shape of a round belly that is narrow at the top and wide at the bottom. It features a short curved spout and a gracefully flowing handle. Three nail-shaped feet are attached to the bottom, creating a stable stance. The entire teapot is smooth and lustrous, simple and generous, lively and spirited, elegant and understated.
