With a straight spout, round handle, and mouth, the lid fits tightly and directly, exuding an extraordinary bearing. The shoulder line, lid surface line, and knob line echo one another from top to bottom, creating an interesting interplay. Gu Jingzhou once made a lid for Shao Dating's "Cloud Shoulder 援 Teapot," and later created this teapot based on that foundation.
