English Translation

The zhu ni water dropper is shaped like a lamp or lychee. A trimmed opening is placed at the top for convenient water addition. The slender neck seamlessly joins with the rounded, drum-like body, integrating into a unified whole. A circular flying handle is attached to one side where the neck meets the rounded body, allowing it to be lifted with a single finger. The shoulder of the water dropper is inscribed with "a ladle of water is abundant." The bottom bears an incised inscription: "A small piece by Tao Hu Wai Shi and Jiang Hua, summer of the Renshen year." The water dropper's form flows gracefully, its conception is ingenious and exquisite, and it is delightfully compact—truly a fine piece for the scholar's desk. > Inscriptions on the outer wall and bottom of the water dropper
