## Reproduction of Traditional Products: The Application of Lines To reproduce a product, one must first observe and analyze it. If one cannot discern its merits and flaws, one will fail to grasp its essence. The form of a teapot body is composed of various lines in combination. Commonly used lines include parabolas, hyperbolas, arcs, cycloids, spirals, straight lines, etc. For example: The hexagonal ribbed teapot body is a parabola. The outer contour lines of the "Fang Gu" (Imitation Drum) and "Yuan Qiu" (Round Ball) teapot bodies appear different, but in reality they employ the same type of line. The Round Ball is an extension and contraction of the Imitation Drum's form; both utilize parabolas.
