Gu Jingzhou created two teapot designs: the "Cile Tiliang Teapot" and the "Tiliang Yi Teapot" (also called the "Yulu Tianxing Tiliang Teapot" because the body is inscribed with: "Two or three drops of dew do not make rain, yet seven or eight stars still remain in the sky").
In the winter of 1987, Zhang Jiarui[1] from Dalian went to Shanghai to visit Hua Junwu. Since his return flight was three days later, and learning that Han Meilin was gathering inspiration in Dingshan, he hurried to Dingshan. At that time, Han Meilin was designing products for several ceramic factories in Dingshan and participating in their production, shuttling back and forth from dawn to dusk every day, tirelessly enjoying his work. Before Zhang Jiarui left Dingshan to return to Shanghai, Han Meilin gifted him sixty-six design sketches for Yixing teapots. Among them were the original design drawings for Gu Jingzhou's "Cile Tiliang Teapot" and "Tiliang Yu Teapot." Zhang Jiarui received this collection of sketches as if he had obtained a precious treasure, loving them immensely. Upon returning to Dalian, he immediately compiled them into an album and wrote a preface to commemorate the occasion:
> "At the end of the Year of the Rabbit, I went to Shanghai for a gathering at the invitation of Elder Hua. Learning that Meilin was in Yixing, the pottery capital, I took advantage of the three-day gap while waiting for my return flight to Dalian to make a special visit to Dingshan. Meilin had been there for more than ten days, rushing day and night between five ceramic factories, designing and creating, joyfully forgetting fatigue. He was extremely delighted to see me. Upon parting, Meilin presented me with sixty-six of his ceramic art design sketches as a gift—such generous kindness that I could not refuse. I treasure these sketches like precious jade, unable to part with them as I admire them..."
